19th century bronze figure "Polyhymnia" France or Austrian sign. J.Walz. The figure is worked out by J.Walz (death:1922). He has worked in Paris and Vienna for Victor Tilgner. The figure "Polyhymnia" is worked after the famous antique figure of Polyhymnia which is exhibit now in Louvre, Paris. Polyhymnia was in Greek mythology the Muse of sacred poetry, sacred hymn, dance, and eloquence as well as agriculture and pantomime.
