About the Item

19th Century Meissen porcelain figure modeled to show the young putti with a cheese press, sat on a naturalistic rocky outcrop raised on circular base. Underglazed crossed swords mark and incised mark L107 to underside of base. The mark with beautifully balanced and carefully painted blades with delicate pommels Circa 1860 model number L107 designed by Heinrich Schwabe.
