A fine old or antique Meissen porcelain figurine. Depicting Cupid sitting atop a rock with a sad expression, both hands and wings bound behind his back. Atop a circular gilt Rococo plinth. Model number L102. After the original model by Heinrich Schwabe (ca. 1878) Simply a wonderful figurine! Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There are minor losses to the tips of some of Cupid's toes & fingers, with some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Meissen Pattern: L 102 Marks: Marked to the base with a blue underglaze crossed swords factory mark, an incised F2, an impressed M 104, and a painted number 11 and 'Germany'.
