Beautiful early 20th century figurine, no. 2262, often referred to as "A Happy Family". This fgurine is an homage to the love of a mother towards her children while also depicting the children's affection towards their mother. An excellent present for mothers day or any other occasion where you wish to pay tribute to the important women in your life. Bing & Grøndahl is one of the oldest most renowned Danish figurine and porcelain makers. It started out as it's own company, but due to it's massive success in was later incorporated in the world famous Royal Copenhagen family. This figurine was painted by M. Ahlmann.
