A large and stunning Italian hand painted abstract figurative sculptural 'Guerriero' (warrior or fighter) ceramic vase by Elio Schiavon (1925-2004) dating from around 1960. This very stylized hand crafted vase portrays a figure holding a shield and is hand painted in textured colored enamels on a contrasting light grey ground.
