A bronze on a marble column after Giovanni Bologna, depicting the Roman god Mercury messenger of the gods flying through the air raised on a path of air made by the mouth of a cherub aided by his wing feet and helmet. A symbol of peace and trade. His finger pointing to the home of the gods mount Olympus. French 19th century circa 1850
