About the Item

The colored wax sculpture depicts the nativity with St. Joseph, Our Lady and the child in the foreground, flanked by an angel bowed in adoration. The background is enhanced by the presence of other angels and cherubs. The work is undoubtedly a preparatory model for a sculpture in another material. It therefore does not have the artist's signature. The object is very unusual and rare. For preservation purposes, the work has been placed within a deep wooden frame, making it a beautifully decorative object. It can also be a celebratory object on the occasion of Christmas.
