A charming and wonderfully executed Italian 19th century white Carrara marble, Gris St. Anne marble, and ormolu statue. The statue is raised by elegant ormolu bun feet below the rectangular Gris St. Anne marble base. The statue above depicts a young boy lying on a bed and leaning on a globe with his wonderfully executed blanket in one hand and holding a book in the other with richly carved carpenter's square and club by his side.
