About the Item
This engaging bronze sculpture on black wooden base, well represents a cheese shape, but the artist jokes with the shape and the words to obtein a conceptual sense of it.
The artist who created this sculpture is Urano Palma a well known Italian artist in Italy and abroad. He put on personal shows in several Italian towns, in Europe and in the United States. Recently also in Corea, where he realized a site specific artwork for the Olympic Games in Seoul. Since 1960 he is a designer as well. He realized piece of furniture as artwork in a variety of material as wood, stone, bronze, crystal and aluminium.
He was born in Varese in 1936 and then he moved to Milan where he lived and worked. He was part of the Italian Avangard. Its works are a long and strong exploration of the surfaces that he holes and combines in a series of empty and full.
This is a multiple of 250 pieces numbered and signed by the artist on the piece.
The piece has its Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Editor.
