Meissen Lovely Pair of Children Season's Rococo Figurines - The Fall: Girl and Boy with Wine Grapes, both supporting themselves on marble column MANUFACTORY: MEISSEN DATING: 19th century / made circa 1870 MATERIAL: WHITE PORCELAIN, GLOSSY FINISH, FINEST PAINTING DESIGNER: MICHAEL VICTOR ACIER (1736 - 1799) / DESIGN MADE CIRCA 1779 TECHNIQUE: HANDMADE PORCELAIN SPECIFICATIONS: 1) We're presenting here a GARDENER GIRL SEIZING A WREATH OF WINE GRAPES AND LEAVES, in which a bird has sat down: It is SYMBOL OF FALL / AUTUMN ! - The figurine is supported by marble column as well as it is attached to round base decorated with partially golden painted Rocaille ornaments. 2) The GARDENER BOY holds a basket filled with wine grapes as well as he seizes a hat (this figurine is SYMBOL OF FALL / AUTUMN , too) . - The gardener boy is supported by marble column as well as it is attached to round base decorated with partially golden painted Rocaille ornaments.
