Scultura “donna con hijab” in radica di Thuja Scultura di arte Islamica realizzata con maestria in legno di radica di Tuia, che raffigura una donna con hijab. La figura femminile è scolpita con linee eleganti e fluide, esprimendo grazia ed eleganza. Il legno di Thuja, con le sue venature, aggiunge una dimensione naturale e movimento tra le pieghe dell’hijab che avvolge delicatamente tutta la figura. Probabilmente lavorata da artista Francese. Il genere Thuja comprende specie arboree e arbustive sempreverdi, di grandi dimensioni (possono arrivare a 60 m di altezza); hanno fusto rastremato, chioma conica, corteccia fessurata colore rosso cannella. Si presenta come un insieme di fibre legnose contorte e attorcigliate, che conferiscono al legno la sua caratteristica durezza e compattezza.
