About the Item
A Wooden Carved Smoking Dwarf - Incense Smoker, ca. 1930
This is a traditional incense smoker in the form of a hand-carved dwarf sitting on a mushroom and smoking a pipe. When an incense cone is lit inside, the smoke gently escapes through the gnome’s mouth, creating the illusion that he’s puffing on his pipe. Executed around 1930.
