The girl stands on a base that resembles land on which a stump and some roses also appear. The hand to the face and the look of concern, coupled with the gesture of extending her skirt make the viewer think that perhaps he has lost the flowers he brought in it or something happens to the garment. The influence of models from French bronze sculptures of the nineteenth century is clear for its forms, its lines and the vocabulary explained."
