Important Stoneware Sculpture by Kato Reikichi

About the Item

Large modern irregular shaped ceramic black vase with a ribbon-like decoration in gold, silver and red called "sho (hovering)" by Kato Reikichi (1953, Japan) from Seto, Aichi Province in original signed box. Bottom mark: Abstract sign. The vase was his contribution to the 31st Nitten Exhibition (lid of the box).
