About the Item
A shield-shaped architectural detail from Thailand, Late 18th Century.
Reclaimed from old constructions and preserved in time, these architectural details are a decorative staple in many traditional Thai buildings, particularly temples and pagodas.
Crafted in the same tradition of the old kilns of Sukhothai, one of the main centers of Thai ceramics in ancient times. Mounted on a black metal stand.
