About the Item

This large 19th-century wooden farm cart wheel captivates with simple lines and wabi-sabi textures. The expressive grain of Chinese northern elm (yumu) is on full display, beautifully aged with deep grooves and softened by a rich patina. Elevated by a steel display mount, the rustic wheel becomes a work of sculpture, reminiscent of a scholars' rock or ancient stone bi disc.
