About the Item
A Museum-Quality Specimen, Perfect for a Collection with its Rare Agate Laces and Purple Amethyst Interior
▫️ Description
Ametista do Sul is known to be the only place in the world that produces agate geodes resembling butterfly wings, and it is safe to say that a specimen like this is among the best agate geodes ever found. This geode is impressive, with a pristine, damage-free agate structure and world-class agate laces, especially because of the purple amethyst in its interior and the boldly sized laces. It is truly a specimen that deserves the center stage in your collection.
With many special qualities, what calls for attention is the agate laces, perfectly formed, with a rare striped pattern of Blue and White hues. These layers reveal the entire geological process unfolding over millions of years: beginning with moss agate, transitioning to a sea-blue shade, evolving into sky blue, and ultimately culminating in the rare, bold white laces. A very rare, specific pattern that needs uncommon geological conditions to form.
Crowning the geode’s natural beauty awaits a rich purple Amethyst, providing a vibrant contrast to its surroundings and reflecting light with every perfectly formed crystal point.
It is very important to highlight the fact that these Agate Geodes with Purple Amethyst Druzy formation are in their purest form and no treatment was applied to it. It was cut and polished in order to enhance its natural beauty.
Exceptional from every angle, for sure these Amethyst Geode Wings will be an amazing addition collection or decor. Please check the pictures to see more of it and feel free to message us in case you have any questions or particular requests.

E2D Crystals
E2D stands for Edivan, Elizandro, and Denny, the 3 Toazza brothers who compose this Family Owned Business and all share a passion for the finest Crystals. As a family, we were lucky to be born and live in Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil: 'The World's Amethyst Capital'. Our story begins in the 1970s, when our father had a small-scale industry of Amethyst, Agate, and Citrine, originating our passion for Crystals and Minerals. After years in the void, but always being surrounded by these fantastic crystals, we decided that it was time to bring our dreams to reality, and in 2020 we started E2D with a Mission: Every item we sell is Ethically Sourced from small miners and lapidaries, leading the path for the development of the whole supply chain, especially for the ones who need more, the miners.

Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
A fascinating agate geode that was cut open to show the world its internal beauty, this Agate Geode Wings combines world-class blue lace agate, purple amethyst druzy, and careful craftsmanship to become this spectacular natural artwork. Exceptional from every angle, for sure this Geode Wings will be an amazing addition collection or a conversation starter in your decor space.
The Agate layer pattern that can be seen reveals the entire process of growth. For millions upon millions of years, it evolved, and in the middle of it, the Purple Amethyst Druzy showcased Nature's remarkable craftsmanship. The agate layers grow one after the other, and millions of years separate the first layer from the last one.
We carefully polished this specimen to highlight its natural features. On its front, the blue and white agate lines contrast beautifully with the Purple Amethyst. Meanwhile, on the back, a landscape reminiscent of islands in the middle of the sea has taken shape.
It is very important to highlight the fact that these Agate Butterfly Geodes...
