Collector-Grade Pair of Deep Purple Amethyst Geodes on Intact Blue Lace Agate
About the Item
Gorgeous at first sight, these geodes, composed of Amethyst on Lace Agate matrices, showcase a rare and harmonious combination of colors, aesthetics, and pristine condition. Geodes of this caliber, particularly Brazilian geode cathedrals with such exceptional features, are exceedingly rare. These extraordinary specimens will undoubtedly elevate any space—whether they become part of a cherished collection, an energetic room, or the perfect centerpiece in your home or office interior.
What makes these geodes truly remarkable is not just one feature, but their beauty as a whole. The intricate agate banding frames the Amethyst with unparalleled elegance. Starting with the agate bandings that create a frame for the Amethyst—more than 50 bands can be counted with the naked eye—they grow in different shades of blue, interlacing with each other to form surreal patterns, which I consider to be some of the world's finest examples of banded blue agate.
Within their interiors, the Amethyst shines with naturally polished points and golden goethite inclusions. The crystals, formed from richly purple-colored Amethyst, are pristine, glassy, and lustrous, creating a beautiful sparkling effect within each geode.
In addition to all of that, you can rest assured knowing that these geodes are ethically sourced, ensuring that they have been obtained and handled in a responsible and sustainable manner. Please check the pictures to see more of them and feel free to message us in case you have any questions or particular requests. 🤍

E2D Crystals
E2D stands for Edivan, Elizandro, and Denny, the 3 Toazza brothers who compose this Family Owned Business and all share a passion for the finest Crystals. As a family, we were lucky to be born and live in Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil: 'The World's Amethyst Capital'. Our story begins in the 1970s, when our father had a small-scale industry of Amethyst, Agate, and Citrine, originating our passion for Crystals and Minerals. After years in the void, but always being surrounded by these fantastic crystals, we decided that it was time to bring our dreams to reality, and in 2020 we started E2D with a Mission: Every item we sell is Ethically Sourced from small miners and lapidaries, leading the path for the development of the whole supply chain, especially for the ones who need more, the miners.

Rare Amethyst Geode with Deep Purple Amethyst, Blue Lace Agate, and Calcitcite
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
A geode that stands as an impressive natural sculpture, with calcite, deep purple, and shiny amethyst, and an aesthetical calcite inclusion interlacing that forms a unique display of natural artistry, a centerpiece.
Rarely seen in any Amethyst specimen, the contrast between the deep purple Amethyst and the Blue Lace Agate creates a stunning visual effect. The Blue Lace Agate forms a natural frame in teal, white, and light blue colors that allows the Amethyst to shine from within, bringing its grape-jelly purple, along with intact points, creating a lustrous, sparkly effect to the specimen.
The Agate Lines are a very special and rare feature of this amethyst specimen. They formed uniformly throughout the entire specimen. The layers begin with a moss agate matrix containing calcite inclusions, which form beautiful natural flowers. These are covered by the first layer of blue lace agate. Atop this, baby-blue and white laces developed, eventually giving way to the galaxy amethyst, allowing it to shine.
To crown the geode, calcite perfectly formed on its side, adding a much-needed contrasting aesthetical point to it.
On a Cathedral with a Nave top, it stands at almost 19 Inches tall and weighing almost 55 lbs.
