Faux Tusk Trophies Brass Mounted A Pair
About the Item
A Pair Of Imitation Tusk Trophies, David Barrett (1923-2008) Designer. These tusk trophies have brass collars on brass covered cube stands. Tusks are smooth and artistically rendered to mimic the curves of real ivory. The resin finish is warm, with subtle translucency to emulate the natural lustrous sheen of elephant tusks. The brass collars, used to mount the tusks, provide and elegant contrast to the softness of the resin. Barrett was known for his skill in creating realistic sculptures using resin and paid meticulous attention to detail, capturing the grace and power of the elephant's tusks.
