Natural Deep Purple Druzy Amethyst Geode with Agate Matrix
About the Item
With a gorgeous natural formation and bringing unique beauty, this amethyst with agate geode is a natural form of art to display as a focal point in your space or a beautiful natural sculpture on your table.
The Amethyst druzy is considered to be AAA-grade, and the captivating deep, rich purple color comes from the presence of iron and manganese within the crystals. The druzy is very clean and the faces are naturally mirror-polished, reflecting the light with a sparkly luster quality.
Another quality that I would like to highlight in this specimen is the agate matrix that surrounds the entire geode and bring the rarely-seen white lace, an exceptional display of art that only nature is capable of creating.
Formed over 120-140 million years ago, this specimen was ethically and legally mined in Ametista do Sul Brazil, and is an unrepeatable natural form of art that will impress even the most aficionado collector.

E2D Crystals
E2D stands for Edivan, Elizandro, and Denny, the 3 Toazza brothers who compose this Family Owned Business and all share a passion for the finest Crystals. As a family, we were lucky to be born and live in Ametista do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil: 'The World's Amethyst Capital'. Our story begins in the 1970s, when our father had a small-scale industry of Amethyst, Agate, and Citrine, originating our passion for Crystals and Minerals. After years in the void, but always being surrounded by these fantastic crystals, we decided that it was time to bring our dreams to reality, and in 2020 we started E2D with a Mission: Every item we sell is Ethically Sourced from small miners and lapidaries, leading the path for the development of the whole supply chain, especially for the ones who need more, the miners.

View AllAmethyst Geode with Deep Purple Amethyst Druzy, Blue Lace Agate, and Calcite
Located in Ametista Do Sul, BR
A geode that stands as an impressive natural sculpture, with calcite, deep purple, and shiny amethyst, and an aesthetical calcite inclusion interlacing that forms a unique display of natural artistry, a centerpiece.
Rarely seen in any Amethyst specimen, the contrast between the deep purple Amethyst and the Blue Lace Agate creates a stunning visual effect. The Blue Lace Agate forms a natural frame in teal, white, and light blue colors that allows the Amethyst to shine from within, bringing its grape-jelly purple, along with intact points, creating a lustrous, sparkly effect to the specimen.
The Agate Lines are a very special and rare feature of this amethyst specimen. They formed uniformly throughout the entire specimen. The layers begin with a moss agate matrix containing calcite inclusions, which form beautiful natural flowers. These are covered by the first layer of blue lace agate. Atop this, baby-blue and white laces developed, eventually giving way to the galaxy amethyst, allowing it to shine.
To crown the geode, calcite perfectly formed on its side, adding a much needed contrasting aesthetical point to it.
On a Cathedral with a Nave top, it stands at almost 19 Inches tall and weighing almost 55 lbs.
