About the Item

This antique sterling silver and etched crystal powder jar and scent bottle are hallmarked by an unknown maker, but presumed to have originated from England and dating to 1880 and done in the period Victorian style. The tops of this partial dresser set are done in sterling silver with chased vine decoration. The sides of the faceted jar and bottle are decorated with etched vines and flowers. The side of the dresser jar is clearly hallmarked and signed "sterling" and "925 fine".
