About the Item

Chambord bottle designed by Alessandro Mendini for Venini. Rare spherical-shaped blown glass bottle with verdemare murrine and sapphire decoration with black glass neck and truncated base. Refined and elegant this collectible bottle is a unique decorative object. Designed by the great Architect, Designer and Artist Alessandro Mendini, one of the most brilliant minds of the 20th century. Winner of three Golden Compasses, he had numerous collaborations with major design brands including Venini, Alessi, Alchimia studio and then Cartier , Hermes and many others. Produced by Venini, a Murano glassworks that has collaborated with countless designers resulting in a wide range of collectible vases sought after worldwide. The vase is in excellent state of preservation, showing no defects or breaks. Venini's label is present and under the base is engraved with a diamond point Venini 92' A. Mendini.
