    This porcelain double gourd vase is a wonderful decorative object realized by a Japanese artist during the Edo period in the early 19th century. Painted with polychrome enamels, it shows on the body a bottom with alveoli on which Stand circular reserves decorated with real and fantastic animals seems to reproduce the zodiac signs.
