About the Item

Elegant decagonal shaped crystal lidded vase, dish plate dating back to Directoire period, finely decorated by elaborate floral and geometrical gilded, white and blue enameled patterns. The base plate has a scalloped edge with minor chips. At the center of the bottom of the vase and of the plate we find an engraved 16-pointed star outlined in blue and white enamel. The top of the lid is hexagonal with floral gilt and blue decorations. Of Mitteleuropean Austro-Hungarian origin, the provenance is a Bolognese private collection. Good condition, great hand-made decoration, The plate has a scalloped edge with minor chips. Dating back to, circa 1810. Measures: Height 17 cm diameter 12cm and plate diameter 17,5.
