About the Item

Early 20th century Swedish hand-crafted Pot Jardiniere Planter with two handles. An alloy of different metals (heavy pot!! BUT you can still lift it with one hand) most probably bronze and copper is involved. Beautiful dark patina. Good condition, but see the last pictures for two small nails on the edge plus one repairment, not bothersome at all, the overall impression is great!! The pot measures Diameter 13.8” / 35 cm Height 5.9” / 15 cm A compliment to the kitchen as a practical and functional piece, however just as beautiful as a decorative piece or a flower pot. The patination is lovely, but could be polished for a cleaner look. We have polished the copper with a few minimal spots that a would need the attention of a professional polisher - however we find a bit of patina looks great one copper. The inside is like new, never used? The brass fish handle is solid and wonderful. Beautiful, smaller signs of age and wear, se pictures and the video for details.
