French Napoleon III Style Jardinière or Planter

About the Item

An early 20th century French Napoleon III style marquetry jardinière, or cachepot, made of veneers of mahogany with ebonized panels and inlaid brass floral decoration. Cast bronze handles, gallery and trim. Zinc liner was repainted at some point. Perfect for the display of orchids or ferns. Circa 1900-1920. Dimensions: 15.5"W x 10"D x 6.5"H
