19th Century Sevres Style Comport

About the Item

A good quality 19th century French Sevres style gilded ormolu-mounted comport. Having a classical romantic scene to the central panel, with a light blue coloured ground, gilded decoration, a floral scene to the reverse. Scrolling gilded foliate handles to either side and raised on an ormolu base.
