French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Ormolu Mounts on Chinese Export Porcelain Urns
About the Item
A very fine pair of 19th century Chinese Export porcelain lidded urns on French Louis XVI st. ormolu mounts. Each urn is raised by circular ormolu bases with scrolled supports below an elegant beaded band. Above is the handsome urn with floral motifs with vibrant green, coral and blue colors. The lid is bordered by finely chased ormolu mounts with intertwined and beaded designs, topped by an acorn finial. All original gilt.
