This is a pair of antique decorative urns. A Japanese, bronze baluster vase, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1850. Delightful pair of vases from the latter years of the Edo period Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout Weathered bronze beautifully time-worn, with warm brown and shimmers of golden hues Narrow neck with flared rim, dressed with a pair of decorative handles Accentuated to the neck with a Kabuki figure set within a relief panel Bulbous baluster form decorated with birds and foliate motif Raised upon a tiered cylindrical foot This is a fascinating pair of antique decorative urns, with appealing Japanese taste and great patination.
