19th Century Louis Seize Style Napoleon III Sèvre Porcelain Vase

About the Item

Suction jewels porcelain with extremely fine chiselled, very decorative, restrained fire-gilt bronze fittings. On the shadows, in a cobalt blue background, rich floral ornamental gold frame. In high-violet reserves with colored depictions of so-called cotton-wads, surrounded by naturalistic park landscapes, on the back large romantic landscape. Rich etched gold decoration. Ovoider porcelain body with broad, ornamental and perforated hoop, decorated with chiselled Classicist baskets, handles on both sides in the form of fullplastic espagnolettes on a raised topfoot, curly ascending lid crown.
