Art Deco Vase - Auguste Mouzin et Cie
About the Item
Factory information:
This vase was produced by Belgium pottery factory Auguste Mouzin et Cie in the 30s. The factory, which rose in 1834 under the name "faïencerie de Wasmuël", was located in the Belgium village Wasmuël (to the west of Mons). The factory was renamed due to the change of ownership in 1878 to Auguste Mouzin, his familyname labeled the factory until its demise in 1952.
Product Description:
This vase looks very attractive to me both due to its subtle form and soft cream white color. The (designed) craquele provides just that bit of contrast to make it stand out. The vase can fit in both modern and classic interiors. You can combine the vase with either a very colourful element (a bird of paradise flower for instance) or use a less contrasting dry flower like on one of the pictures.
Product condition:
The vase is in very good condition with no real impurities.
