About the Item
Beautiful gorgeous tall Art Nouveau style Art Glass cylinder shaped vase embellished with ornate silver mounts that include a large medallion with maiden on center front. The workmanship of the silver overlaid decoration is very high quality and is elaborately embossed with fine details including a dancing maiden holding a tambourine in the center surrounded by four cornucopia forming an arch above and below the figure with an open wing eagle above. The artistic workmanship along with the size of this vase are very impressive. Vase is marked on the top rim. This is a very impressive vase. The glass body is thick with the base being 3/4" thick which gives this tall vase stability when being used.
It measures 15 5/8" high with a 3" top diameter and 4 5/8" diameter base. Weighs about 3.8 pounds.
The glass body and the silver are in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. This vase would be stunning holding glads or other tall stemmed flowers.
