Berndt Friberg (1899–1981) was a Swedish ceramicist and thrower, renowned for his technical mastery and refined glazes. He worked for many years at Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory, collaborating with designers such as Wilhelm Kåge and Stig Lindberg. Friberg’s pieces are distinguished by their perfect proportions, delicate forms, and richly nuanced glazes—often in earthy tones, deep blues, or greens. Every piece was hand-thrown by Friberg himself, making his ceramics unique and highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
