About the Item
Exceptional quality Italian Murano Sommerso art glass vase by renowned makers Camvetri and dating to the 20th century. This exquisite and beautifully made vase is hand blown in clear glass and stands on a pointed oval shaped flat polished foot with a twisted oval shaped body with a deep pink tinted cased inner body set with a double sommerso halo in blue and pink. The vase is very heavily made with a rounded polished lip oval opening and has an original makers Cam Murano makers label attached to the base and four original applied card feet. One of the best we have had the pleasure in offering for sale.
Provenance: acquired in the UK Art Market.
The vase is in excellent original condition having spent its entire life being displayed. There are a few natural tiny bubble inclusions as is normal to these hand-crafted glass pieces.
