This cast piece was part of the Collectible show in September 2024 where Joseph Algieri showcased new cast resin work. All of the work was created by casting ceramic clay in molds, then added pigmented resin to the casts. The sub-straight is also made of the same material using an opaque resin along with silica. These pieces are one of a kind.

Joseph Algieri
Joseph Algieri is a ceramicist, lighting and home designer. Based in New York, his practice has spanned several different types of media, notably expandable foams and clay. Joseph’s work relies heavily on deconstructing and dissolving form, repetition, and expanding upon materials to their limit in a comedic fashion.
