About the Item

A Central African carved wood vessel from the mid-20th century. This vintage vessel from Central Africa is created from a single piece of hallowed trunk, which has been artfully decorated about each longer side of it's exterior with multiple figures carved at the center, flanked by zig-zag style vertical carvings. The piece has a lovely old patina and wonderful losses which have occurred naturally within the wood. This hand carved wood oblong bowl from Central African will be a great decorative object for your home or office.
