About the Item

A “Cyclamens” jarrón, Emile Gallé, Nancy, c. 1920 This multi-capa glass jar (cameo glass) of glass master Émile Gallé, presents a design called "Cyclamens". The jar has a globular shape, with a corto and other jar. The paleta of colors is distinct, with a background of video esmerilado in amarillo-ámbar tones, superb for one or more cases of video of red color intense and dark dark. The decoration, based on the acid-grabbing technique, presents a naturalistic design of flowers and flower heads. The design is characterized by its effect in relieving and darkening the colors, which intensify from the light yellow on the upper side with a deep burdeos at the base. The artist's firm, "Gallé", was captured in one of the lados of the heart of the jar, beautifully integrated into the floral decoration.
