About the Item

This stunning vintage art glass vase was made by the Durand Art Glass Shop in the early 20th century. It has a splendid gold iridescence decorated with five vertical broad stylized pulled feathers that encircle the vase from its base to its neck. This magnificent model is further enhanced with a wandering intricate & delicate spun gold threading covering the surface of the art glass. There is a polished pontil. The vase is not signed, but the company was only in existence from 1925 to 1932 & historians state that the earlier models were not signed. The vase is in excellent/ pristine condition
