This original vintage Studio Pottery Object was designed by Gerhard Liebenthron and produced in their own Studio in the 1980s in Bremen Germany. It is made of stoneware pottery ceramic and has a very unique brown, ochre coloration and surface structure. The bottom is marked with typical Liebenthron Producer signature GL and year signature 86. A very collectible and very rare item of the Liebenthron collection. The object has a very sculptural form and in its size of 18.7cm in height and 28.5cm in diameter, it is very impressive.
It can be used as an object or as a planters pot element,
Straightforward and minimalistic design of the 1980s design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home.

VITA Liebenthron:
From 1945-1951 Liebenthron studied at the Staatliche Kunstschule Bremen (school of arts) in the pottery class of Else Krieg & Dorothea Colberg-Tjadens in 1951 Liebenthron has been the Assistant of the sculptor Prof. Goersemann there.
After Liebenthron finished his time at the Kunstschule he opened his own workshop in the Boettcherstraße, Bremen (in 1952).
Gerhard Liebenthron's work can be found in several museums in Germany. The Keramik Museum in Berlin, the Fockemuseum in Bremen and the Hetiens Museum in Düsseldorf for example. He has been a member of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Kunsthandwerk Bremen.

This original vintage Studio Stoneware Object was designed by Otto Meier and produced in his own Studio in the 1960s in Bremen, Worpswede in Germany. It is made of solid very heavy stoneware pottery and has a very unique light green coloration and structure. the bottom is marked with typical Otto Meier Producer signature OM. a very collectible and very rare item of the Meier Collection. the object has a very sculptural form and in its size of 16,5cm in height and 20,5cm in diamter, it is very impressive.
