About the Item
An elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. crystal and ormolu mounted vase. The cylinder shaped vase is raised by a bottom square ormolu base with a rounded mottled band and a spiral reeded design. The vase is elegantly designed with a lattice pattern at the top and the bottom. At the center of the vase are elongated cuts all around the cylinder. The top of the vase is decorated by a similar mottled band as the bottom with a spiral reeded designs. Very nice proportions and in excellent antique condition.
