French Black Decorated Cloisonné Vase
About the Item
A beautiful decorated French cloisonné vase belonging to the 1900s, of fine French manufacture.
The vase has a smaller but round base bordered in gold. The vase then widens to take an ovoid shape and narrows again at the neck. The neck is traversed by a frame of crossed silver and red triangles.
The vase is decorated using the cloisonné technique, a marvellous artistry. The decorations feature beautiful flowers, including peonies, daisies and lavender, all framed by shimmering green leaves.
The vase is gorgeous and is a beautiful decorative element!
