About the Item

These are a very good example of a Staffordshire porcelain Garniture set of Three Miniature Vases, all finely hand painted and gilded in English landscape scenes, and dating from the early 19th century, circa 1820. These are a high quality set of Three finely potted miniature vases with flared rims, two of nominally the same height and the third taller by about 5/8 inches with a slightly wider diameter. All three vases are finely and individually hand painted with three different English landscape scenes featuring old country houses / abbey ruins, very much in the "gothick" style of the time, with trees, hills, lakes etc. The hand painting is particularly well executed. There are cobalt blue borders below the top rim and above the base with additional hand gilded gold detail. Please see images. There are no makers markings that we can see but we consider the pieces to be made by one of the quality English Staffordshire Potteries, of which there were many operating around our estimated date of Circa 1820. These are a beautiful, English, late Georgian, miniature set for the Display Cabinet.
