French Charder Le Verre Français Glass Vase
This French glass vase by Charder Le Verre Français features a gourd-like shape with a long, narrow neck that widens at the mouth. Its overall design is asymmetrical, with an irregularly shaped base and an elongated, subtly sloping neck. It is decorated with a motif of stylized foliage or branches in orange and coppery brown tones on a translucent, milky white background. The design is made using acid etching, which creates a tactile relief and a satiny texture. The engraved signature "Charder" can be seen on the body of the vase. The mouth of the vase has a unique finish in the form of an irregular glass mosaic in the same warm tones, which complements the main design. On the base, the glass is a deep orange color and has a polished surface that reveals the circular markings of production.
