About the Item

Early modernist stoneware vessel designed by Harald Östergren for Upsala-Ekeby, Sweden, 1930s. A gorgeous dark brown outer glaze, squash shaped body with reverted beak and handle glazed in orange. Marked EKEBY and form number to the bottom. Excellent condition. Dimensions: diameter 12 cm, height 10.5 cm.
