Japanese Gourd Shape Kutani Ceramic Vase with Cranes Decoration 1940s

About the Item

Exotic gourd shape Kutani ceramic vase with flying Cranes decoration from Mid Century Japan. The hand painting was done with great care and artistic knowledge. The vase is painted with swirling clouds decoration with 4 single cranes in the upper section while the botton portion has 3 pairs of cranes. Just beautiful! Condition: Very Good Condition. On a portion of the bottom section there is some crackle of the glazing and one firing blemish on bottom rim (see pics). Measurements: 6 inches high x 4 1/2 inches diameter
