Very large antique French Sèvres style porcelain vase French, Late 19th Century Height 154cm, diameter 41cm This fantastic vase is the work of J. Pascault, a famed porcelain artist of the late 19th Century who specialised in the production of Sevres-style pieces. It is beautifully executed, and especially impressive given its large size of one and a half metres (almost 5 feet) in height. The vase is tall and slender in shape, set on a gilt bronze plinth, and surmounted by a cover with a pinecone finial. Its ovoid body is decorated around its exterior in the Rococo taste: showing a female figure and winged putti in a landscape...

A large and impressive 19th century French 'Sevres' ormolu mounted painted porcelain covered urn. Cobalt-blue baluster form with tooled gilt bordering cartouche centered with hand painted romantic scene depicting a standing man and two ladies. The reverse side with landscape scene within a tooled gilt bordered cartouche. An intricately detailed gilded bronze wreath, wings and hinged ring handles flank each side of urn, conforming socle base with a gilt bronze rim with continuous acanthus leaf detail, gilt bronze shapely plinth.
