Large Antique Austrian Imperial Amphora Pottery Figural Statue Art Nouveau 1910

About the Item

A very large Austrian "Imperial Amphora" Turn Teplitz pottery figural group, circa 1910. The group is modelled in the Art Nouveau manner, depicting a pair of maidens in bronze glazed outfits and carrying baskets and standing on a rocky outcrop. The group is stamped to the underside with an incised crown and "Amphora Austria" in Art Nouveau style lettering. This is one of the largest pieces of Imperial Amphora one will see at 26" (66cm) tall, condition is very good.
