Michele De Lucchi 'Coppa de la Mistica' by Sèvres, 2011
$16,500

About
From the imagination of the Milanese architect Michele De Lucchi come three forms of stemmed cups which both workshops are simultaneously producing: Sèvres in a hard-paste porcelain, and Baccarat in cut crystal. The result is an exceptional collection, Le Coppe della Filosofia.
Each cup rises, as if in levitation, or in spiritual meditation. These stemmed cups are completed in different materials so the dexterity, the flair and the inspiration can properly be expressed. The Coppa dell'etica is flat and encompassing, whilst the Coppa della mistica is high and refined. The Coppa dell'estetica, the original rendition, marries the characteristics of the latter two pieces in one object.
