About the Item
Beautiful antique, early Murano hand blown blue and silver flecks Italian art glass fan shaped footed vase. Attributed to the Fratelli Toso company, with a similar vase pictured in the company book. The vase is profusely covered in silver leaf, and has a large blue and yellow daisy flower with clear leafs and stem decoration attached to the front. The rim has a crimped design and as you can see from the side view the vase has a flat shape. The applied foot is a little irregular in shape (see close up photo), which is probably why it leans a little to 1 side. An imperfection from the glass blowing process and mentioned for accuracy. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a flower vase, or as a display piece on any shelf or curio cabinet. Art Deco Era. Measures 10" long x 7 7/8" long at the rim x 4" wide base.
