About the Item

An incredibly fine pair of antique Amethyst cut crystal vases mounted with dore bronze mounts. The vases have delicate faceted detail reminiscent of the Baccarat firm in France which likely supplied these vases. The base is marked "Made in Austria" which likely is who made the acanthus leaf detailed bronze bases and rim mounts. Each piece shines bright purple when light is run through, I'd highly suggest these placed in a lighted cabinet, shelf or in front of a window. Bases measure 4.25", rims measure 6.25".
